Capulet´s Lenia of Slanting Shore

Nach den Auftaktturnieren in Ludwigshafen, Bayreuth und Weilburg,

bei denen wir durch ungünstige Divisionsaufteilungen mittlere Platzierungen erreichten,

legten wir beim Turnier in Fritzlar am Pfingstmontag so richtig los.

Nach guten Vorläufen am Vormittag stiegen wir gleich mit unserer schnellsten Formation in die Ausscheidungswettkämpfe ein.

Lenia und ihre drei schnellen Gefährten Willow (Border Collie), Timmi und Socke (Australian Shepherds) rannten,

was das Zeug hielt. Bis zum Semi-Finale waren wir nicht aufzuhalten. Doch da versagten mal wieder die Nerven.

Ich schickte Lenia, die an diesem Tag mehr als eine halbe Sekunde schneller lief als bei den den drei vorangegangenen Turnieren,

einen Wimpernschlag zu früh in den Parcour und produzierte so einen völlig unnötigen Wechselfehler.

Als dann noch Socke den Ball im Laufen ausspuckte, war der Traum vom Finale geplatzt.

Wir verloren das Rennen, obwohl wir über eine Sekunde schneller waren als unsere Gegner,

aber wir trösteten uns mit einem schönen 3. Platz und einem hübschen Pokal.

Die gute Laune blieb uns erhalten, denn: nach dem Turnier ist vor dem Turnier!

Am 1. Juni werden wir erneut zuschlagen!!
