Hier Ihr Bericht zum Turnier:

Ich finde, die Flyball-Bandagen sehen auf jeden Fall sehr professionell aus.

Unsere Mannschaft hat es mal wieder extrem spannend gemacht.

Nach den Vorrundenläufen am Vormittag lagen wir auf einem aussichtsreichen 3. Platz.

Im Double Elimination am Nachmittag drehten wir richtig auf und unsere Hunde liefen wie entfesselt:

wir gewannen alle Rennen und marschierten direkt durch bis ins Finale.

Hier war diesmal der Beauty-Express unser Gegner,

und beim Stand von 2 : 2 siegten diese mit einem hauchdünnen Vorsprung (23,84 : 23,85 sec.).

Da dieses unsere erste Niederlage war, kam es zu einem Re-Finale,

welches der sympathische Beauty-Express wiederum beim Stand von 2 : 2

nach einem leichten Konzentrationsfehler eines unserer Hunde für sich entscheiden konnte.

Nicht nur für uns, sondern auch für die Zuschauer waren es zwei an Spannung nicht zu überbietende Finalläufe

und wir bekamen jede Menge Beifall.

Nun ist die Flyball-Saison für dieses Jahr leider vorbei und wir werden den Winter über fleißig trainieren,

damit wir nächsten Jahr mal wieder ganz oben auf dem Treppchen stehen können!

Am 06.05.2012 starteten wir in Herrenberg bei Stuttgart. Nach tollen Vorrundenläufen am Vormittag, bei den wir mit 23,31 die Tagesbestzeit unserer Division liefen, begannen die Ausscheidungsläufe am Nachmittag leider mit einer Niederlage gegen unsere stärksten Konkurrenten, den Hobbits.

Aber wie echte Dogzillaz kämpften wir uns durch die Trostrunde, gewannen alle Rennen und standen dann im Finale. Unsere Gegner: wieder die Hobbits!

Obwohl wir, da wir ja über die Trostrunde alle Konkurrenten schlagen mussten, 3 Rennen mehr in den Knochen hatten, schenkten wir den Hobbits nichts. Beim Stand von 2 : 2 lagen die Nerven blank.

Im alles entscheidenden letzten Lauf gewannen die Hobbits mit viel Glück hauchdünn,

so dass wir ihnen diesmal den Pott überlassen mussten.

Aber der zweite Platz ist auch eine tolle Leistung.

Lenia hat übrigens in Herrenberg ihre neue persönliche Bestzeit gelaufen: 6,06 sec.!
